Below is a list of available CPR and First Aid courses.  You can register for them by clicking on the course title and completing registration on the following pages.

Adult CPR/AED & First Aid
Cost:
Adult CPR/AED:                                 $40 (4.5 Hours)
Adult CPR/AED & First Aid:                $50 (6.5 Hours)

Description:

This training prepares students to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, as well as how to apply basic precautions to reduce the risk of disease transmission during and after providing care.  In addition to CPR, this course includes training to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Infant & Child CPR & First Aid

Description:

Designed for childcare providers, teachers, parents and others who care for children, this course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children up to 12 years of age.

Description:

This class is the combination of Adult CPR/AED, Infant & Child CPR and First Aid. Read descriptions above. In order to qualify for this course you must have received certified CPR training in the same course area within the last 24 months.

First Aid
Cost:
First Aid:                    $35 (2.5 Hours)

Description:

Learn the skills needed to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive. Basic disease transmission precautions covered.  Meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines. Certification is for three years!

Blood Borne Pathogens
Cost:
Blood Borne Pathogens Training:        $15 (1.5 Hours)

Description:

A training module for individuals who, while on the job, may be exposed to blood or other body fluids that could cause infection. First Aid providers, EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, health care workers, hotel workers, and Lifeguards may be interested in this class.

CPR Made Simple
Cost:
CPR Made Simple:                            $20 (1 Hour)
 
Description:

This skills-based course will teach you basic emergency care steps during an emergency to include how to perform CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator before the arrival of EMS. NOTE: This class does not replace certified training.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
Cost:
CPR/AED Professional Rescuer:        $65 (8 Hours)
 
Description:

This course covers: responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants, two-rescuer CPR, preventing disease transmission, use of bag-valve masks and AEDs.


This course meets all criteria of the Joint Commission of Accreditation for Hospitals. American Red Cross certification is accepted in all 50 States.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer REVIEW
Cost:
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Review:               $45

Description:

This format is shorter and at a lower cost than the full-length course. A current book and a pocket mask are required and not provided. (The Lifeguard Training Manual [rev. 2006] is also an appropriate textbook.) To be eligible for this course you must have received CPR for the Professional Rescuer or other certified BLS training within the last 24 months.

Pet First Aid
Cost:
Pet First Aid:               $55 (5 Hours)

Description:

This course covers symptoms and care for common ailments and emergencies; practice of animal CPR skills; and disaster preparedness.
